In another twist to the troubled life of singer Britney Spears, friends of the star have said she is pregnant – and may not be sure who the father is.
According to reports, a source close to the star told Australian magazine NW that the 25-year-old had confided news of her pregnancy to close friends.
The source claimed: "She's been secretly filling her pals in on the good news since last week."

Who's the Daddy: Rumours are circulating that singer Britney Spears may be pregnant, and is unsure who the father is
Britney is alleged to have been dating former lover and drug counsellor, John Sundahl, a relationship which may have overlapped with her rumoured relationship with bodyguard and 'manny' Daimon Shippen.
The source told NW magazine: "Britney is in shock herself, this definitely wasn't planned. "She's thrilled just the same."
Britney already has two young sons with estranged soon-to-be ex-husband Kevin Federline, 22-month-old Sean Preston and 10-month-old Jayden James.

The singer caused a stir when she went out shopping in West Hollywood, and stopped off to have lunch at restuarant The Abbey.
Followed by a horde of paparazzi, Britney took exception to one photographer and launched a foulmouthed tirade.
She got into her Mercedes wound down the window and shouted: "When are you going to get on a diet? Ever tried Weight Watchers, you fat f**k.
"Why don't you run? You need to f**king jog, you f**king p***y. Yeah, run, run b****."
In the background Britney's sons, 10-month-old son Jayden James and Sean Preston who turns two in September, were said to be crying.

Britney's behaviour has caused concern elsewhere as celebrity website TMZ reported the singer's photoshoot and interview with the US edition of OK! magazine was an unmitigated disaster which has left the magazine to debate whether they should sanitise the incident to protect Britney.
The star, now said to be handling her own publicity, personally requested an interview with magazine chief Sarah Ivens.
But sources told TMZ the interview was "nothing less than a meltdown". They claim she was "completely out of it" during the shoot and the photos are so bad that to publish them could "kill her career".
Apparently Britney was snapped with her eyes rolled back in her head. Her mood, they claim, was extremely erratic. The website reported: "She was also completely paranoid ... fearing at one point the ceiling was about to cave in on her."
She then ordered some fried chicken and when she'd finished eating, wiped her sticky fingers on a several-thousand dollar Gucci dress she was wearing for the shoot. Then, as a foul finale, Brit's little lapdog pooped all over the floor, and she reportedly used a Chanel dress to mop it up.
Britney stunned the receptionist of the US publication, when she called up herself and asked to speak to OK! editor Ivens, and negotiated a tell-all deal to discuss her divorce and troubles with her mum.
The magazine is set for publication next week.
A spokesperson from the singer's record label, Sony BMG, was not available for comment.
