Ready for a fight: Paris Hilton and kung fu movie legend Jackie Chan ham it up for the cameras
Demure: Paris Hilton looks right at home on the red carpet at the premiere of Rush Hour 3
She certainly appeared to be laughing off the kung fu king as he balled one of his famous fists at her.
The glamour girl and the martial arts master were hamming it up for the cameras at the premiere of Chan's latest film Rush Hour 3.
If Paris was cruising for a bruising on the red carpet, at least she had the good sense to pick on someone her own size.
Gigantic basketball player Sun Ming Ming, who plays a triad member in the film, cast a shadow over his co-stars.
Chan added a little more humour by crouching down to accentuate the positive for the gathered paparazzi struggling to fit Ming in to their photos.
At 7ft 8in, Ming is one of the tallest basketball players around, ensuring that he got signed up by the NBA without too many problems.
Paris, 26, is also walking tall - making the most of being a free woman since serving time for driving offences in America last month.
She looked demure in a sparkly little black number as she arrived at the red carpet, looking a state of sobriety.
One thing that jail has seemed to have taught her is that it is possible to go out without having to get hammered.
