Paris, with a face full of make up, managed a small smile for her mug shot
Paris is reported to have three blankets but no pillow, and complained that jail noises and her bright cell are keeping her awake.
One source said: "Paris is scared. She's called her lawyer and family, but found it really hard to talk because there's a recording, 'you have one minute left. This call is being recorded',"
According to the New York Post, the heiress was visited in jail by her lawyer Richard Sutton and psychiatrist Dr. Charles Sophy, who spent two hours with her inside the Century Regional Detention Centre.
When asked about the visit, the Beverly Hills psychiatrist said: "I don't discuss my patients." And lawyer Sutton said: Everything's fine,".
The Post said prison officials have rolled out the red carpet for Paris. Reports said she didn't have to undergo the humiliating cavity search routinely done on all incoming prisoners.
And when she checked in late Sunday night, jailers cleared the booking area and made inmates sit in a separate holding pen.
A source told the Post: "All inmates waiting to be processed were taken into a temporary holding cell, and Paris was brought in and booked quickly. The inmates taunted Paris for getting special treatment."
However, despite her complaints, Paris is said to be popular with inmates and an anonymous admirer attempted to send Hilton a dozen roses and a fruit basket.
Unfortunately for Paris the delivery was rejected because the inmates are not allowed to receive gifts.
