Paul McKenna is ready to pay £19m for the house where Jacko died

Hypnotist Paul McKenna is reportedly considering paying £19 million to buy the house where Michael Jackson spent his final days.

The 46-year-old, right, Britain's most successful non-fiction author, viewed the Los Angeles house this week and is said to be "very interested".

His success in the US, which includes a new TV deal with American Idol presenter Ryan Seacrest, is said to have prompted him to consider buying the house.

A friend said: "Paul was blown away by the sheer elegance of the property. It is one of the classiest houses in LA."

Jackson paid £60,000 a month to rent the seven-bedroom, 13-bathroom house which is set in 1.26 acres. He died there in June last year.
