Peace: The group show their solidarity as time has healed old wounds

Let it be: Sir Paul McCartney with John Lennon's widow Yoko Ono at a dedication ceremony in honour of her late husband and Beatle George Harrison

At the unveiling of two plaques commemorating the dead Beatles, Yoko said: "John would have been very happy and glad that this show is such a success, and also that another magnificent man introduced him - I'm very thankful to him."

The dedication ceremony coincided with the one-year anniversary of circus troupe Cirque du Soleil's Beatles musical "LOVE" at the Mirage Hotel in Las Vegas.

The group unveiled two plaques dedicated to the deceased Beatles which will remain in the lobby of the Mirage Hotel in Las Vegas

Yoko and Paul have clearly put aside the spat which erupted when it emerged that McCartney reversed the credits on Beatles songs for his album, "Back In The U.S. Live 2002".

The album, lists 19 classic Beatles songs "by Paul McCartney and John Lennon," rather than the more traditional "Lennon-McCartney," which the pair once agreed on early in their careers.

Despite rumours that Yoko was planning legal action over the matter. Instead in a damning statement her lawyer said: "This is not an issue involving a legal matter ... She is secure in the knowledge that the agreement that has been in place for the past 40 years stands."

The quartet then made history by appearing together on talk show Larry King, in what's reported to be the only time the two surviving Beatles and the deceased Beatles wives have agreed to be interviewed together.

King took his talk show to the Mirage where the Beatles musical has been playing to packed houses.

In a revealing interview McCartney held Starr's hand to demonstrate to King what happened the last time he sat with late bandmate Harrison, who lost his cancer battle in 2001.

He recalled: "I got to see him a short time before he died... We sat, stroking hands, like this, and this was a guy I'd known since he was a little kid and you don't stroke hands with guys like that. It was just beautiful."

McCartney is currently in the midst of a bitter divorce battle with estranged wife Heather Mills.
