Posh keeps it casual and launches a new trend in 70's-style flares

Fashionista Victoria Beckham kept it casual but still seemed to be pioneering a new trend as she arrived back in LA today.

Accompanied by sons Cruz and Romeo, the fashion designer stepped out in seventies-style flared jeans and a round-neck charcoal sweater, slashed to strips at the back.

This is a dramatic difference to the skin-tight chic Posh was sporting during her visit back to Britain to support footballer husband David in England's game against France.

New trend? Posh's flares are a new look and show off her extremely trim thighs

While the LA Galaxy player was training in the March snow, Victoria was seen out and about in London wearing PVC trousers - so close-fitting they could have been painted on.

Perhaps she needed a bit of comfort after her London look, hence the decision to don flares which showed off her tiny figure and trim thighs.

Although dressed down, Victoria looked her usual groomed self, carrying a large tote and wearing her trademark oversized sun-glasses - must-haves for life in LA.

Leaving skintight chic behind, Posh got back to LA life in looser jeans and a slashed-back top
