A budding DJ and journalist , 18-year-old Peaches is turning her hand to modelling and this is the result of her first shoot for the Australian fashion chain Dotti.

18-year-old Peaches is following in her mum Paula's footsteps as she kicks off her modelling career

She is following in the footsteps of her mother, whose first assignment at the same age was slightly racier, stripping off for Penthouse magazine.

In a visual pun Peaches is snapped here playing croquet with peaches instead of a ball and certainly seems to be oozing what fashion firm Dotti called "her British cool and charisma".

The move seems to be one more example of Peaches' apparent desire to grow up and go her own way as we recently reported that she has moved out of her family home in Battersea and into a rented flat in Islington.

Dotti's general manager Sarah Rovis said of the new face of their brand: "She has her own style, which is an eclectic mix of chain store and high end. It's exactly how our Dotti customers dress."

"Peaches also stands out from the sameness of Hollywood celebrities and is her own woman."

Peaches, who has fronted a number of TV programmes, claimed last year that despite still being at school she was already earning £250,000 a year.

A few months ago her father Bob Geldof was forced to clamp down on her socialising, insisting she focus on her A-levels.
