The fomer Atomic Kitten, 27, gave herself a New Year treat by having the name of her 10-month-old daughter, Heidi, etched onto her skin.
Her husband Mark Croft and father of little Heidi was there to hold Katona's hand as she winced in pain.

The reality TV star popped into Gods of Ink tattoo parlour in Cheale Hulme in Stockport.
The whole painful experience was caught on camera by MTV, who are currently filming a reality show about the couple who live in £13million mansion in Cheshire.

The face of Iceland supermarkets had a difficult 2007, despite the birth of Heidi and her marriage to Croft.
In July, Katona, Croft and Heidi were taken hostage by a gang of thieves, who took an estimated £100,000 worth of property, including a BMW, from their home.
Days later, Katona was admitted to The Priory suffering from bi-polar disorder.

Despite marrying last Valentine's Day, Katona and Croft, 36, renewed their vows in a Marbella, Spain, ceremony just seven months later.
Katona is currently four months pregnant with her fourth child. She is also mother to Molly, six; and Lilly Sue, four; with ex-husband Brian McFadden.
She is currently fighting former Westlife singer McFadden for custody of her two eldest children.
McFadden recently announced his engagement Austrailian singer Delta Goodrem.
