But judging by these pictures the young prince must have done most of the running.

Sunburnt, pasty, and a little on the portly side, Clarkson was sporting a look best described as 'Brit Abroad' on the golden sands of Barbados.

The Top Gear host has confessed he hates physical exertion and would only run 'if I were being chased by a grizzly bear'.

Much more on that paunch Jeremy and you'd struggle to outpace a tortoise.
