Welcome home: Rachel Weisz is back on stage in London
But the actress, 38, pictured with Aronofsky, admitted the capital had "changed a lot" in the eight years since she moved to the US and met the film director, whose credits include Pi and The Wrestler.

"The East End now has this huge cultural art thing — in 2001 when I left, I don't think that had quite happened," she said.
Although she has been rehearsing until now, she intends to make the most of her time off. "London is an incredible city," she said. "I'm the tour guide. I was born here and lived here until 2001. It's my city. Every street corner has memories. Like the Roundhouse — I used to go there as a child."

The couple, who have a son, Henry, have been based in New York since they got together not long after her move to America with the Broadway transfer of Neil LaBute's The Shape of Things — Weisz's last London stage appearance.
