Reformed wild girls Lindsay and Paris reunite for sober party

They've chalked up 30 days of rehab and 23 days of jail time between them, and now notorious Hollywood wild girls Lindsay Lohan and Paris Hilton have joined forces to celebrate their new found freedom.

The reformed It girls have buried their long standing feud - which began when Lindsay briefly hoooked up with Paris' ex boyfriend Stavros Niachos - for an alcohol free July 4 beach party in Malibu.

Lindsay, who curiously kept her tiny denim shorts undone during the party, guzzled on energy drinks and smoked cigarettes, while Paris mingled with the crowd and occassionaly waved at the nearby hoards of paparazzi.

Also on the guest list was lothario Calum Best, who appears to again be a fixture in the Mean Girls star's life.

He was spotted at Lindsay's exclusive party just two days after attending her 21st birthday, also held at Malibu beach.

The playboy is said to have splashed out £120 on a gold-framed Astronomical Chart with her personal star ringed in red.

And his personal message: "A star for a star. You'll always be out of this world to me."

Dina Lohan told People magazine that Lindsay's birthday "was a quiet lovely day with family and true friends."

Meanwhile, Paris urged her fans to take care over the holiday in a message on her MySpace page: "Happy 4th of July everyone, remember to be responsible and have a designated driver! Just looking out for you all. I love you and have an amazing summer!"

The heiress recently returned from a post-jail getaway in Hawaii, and has since moved into a new luxury beachfront home in Malibu.

She wrote on her site: "I'm back from my much needed vacation in Maui. It was so beautiful and relaxing. But it's good to be home again. I just want to thank you all for your letters of love and support.

She continued: "The past month has inspired me to move forward with some exciting new projects, so I will keep you all posted."

No doubt the Simple Life star will have shared her new found wisdom with Lohan, who is set to face court on August 24.

Recent reports claim that she had cocaine and nearly twice the legal amount of alcohol in her system when she was arrested for driving under the influence in May.

Lindsay checked into the Promises rehab facility days after the incident.
