Amid speculation she may be pregnant with husband Tom Cruise's second child, Katie Holmes shows how she's taken to motherhood like a duck to water.
The former Dawson's Creek star treated daughter Suri, two, to a day out in New York's Central Park on Thursday.
The cute twosome looked like a catalogue picture of a family outing as they played on a slide and swing and generally wandered around the park.
Playtime: Katie Holmes and her daughter Suri enjoy a day out in New York's Central Park
Meanwhile, as she stepped out in Manhattan earlier in the day, a bespectacled Katie bore an uncanny resemblance to veteran comedian Ronnie Corbett.
The 29-year-old's thick framed lenses recalled the style worn by Corbett in the Seventies and Eighties.
Earlier this week, Katie set tongues wagging that she is expecting another child when she stepped out in New York sporting a white figure-hugging top and baggy jeans.
Mummy's girl: Katie and Suri bond during their day out
The following day she appeared to be deliberately covering her alleged baby bump with a loose pink top.
Katie has repeatedly denied rumours of a second pregnancy and has thrown herself back into her acting career after taking time out to raise Suri.
The actress appears to be dressing for comfort these days - her staple look more in keeping with that of a mum-on-the-run than a multi-millionaire wife.
Devoted: Katie holds Suri in place on a swing
She is currently gearing up to make her first appearance on Broadway in a production of All My Sons, which opens in October.
And she recently wrapped filming a guest appearance as a non-profit attorney in one episode of US television drama Eli Stone.
