But Hope's joy turned to sorrow for member Sisi Jghalef after she was kicked off the show just one week after she joined girl band.
The 22-year-old auditioned for the ITV1 talent series as a solo singer, but was convinced to form a group with Phoebe Brown, Leah Lauder, Emily Biggs, Charlie Mole and Raquelle Gracie after judge Louis Walsh suggested an "experiment" at boot camp.
However, shortly after learning that her group was one of the twelve finalists, producers were forced to axe Sisi after discovering that she was wanted for failing to finish a community service stint.

She had been convicted for assaulting a McDonald's worker, and chiefs feared that she could be arrested on live TV if police saw her performing on the show.
A distraught Sisi was shown on the show being told the news, and was inconsolable when her former bandmates tried to comfort her.

Following her ejection, Sisi blew the lid on boot camp, claiming many of the contestants were so tired from sex romps they could barely perform on stage, and she admitted smoking cannabis and claimed that other wannabes took harder drugs.
Both groups are made up of members rejected as solo competitors, who were given the chance to form groups and face new auditions.
The other group in the final are brother and sister duo, Same Difference, Sean and Sarah Smith, but they are rank outsiders at 33/1.

Out of the solo competitors, 22-year-old asbestos worker Andy Williams and Emily Nakanda, 15, are joint favourites with odds of 6/1.
And single father Daniel de Bourg, 31 and grungy Scots sales assistant Leon Jackson are right behind them with odds of 7/1.
The ITV1 reality show faced stiff competition in the ratings with BBC1 rival Strictly Come Dancing.
But according to reports, X Factor came out on top with an average of 7.5 million viewers on Saturday compare with Strictly's 7.4million.
When both were on at the same time, Strictly had more viewers than its rival.
