Right flappers: Girls Aloud step out as showgirls

Girls Aloud turned their raunchy Greatest Hits tour up a notch, debuting a flirty new line of costumes during their latest performance at London's Wembley Arena.

The group stepped on stage in thigh-baring sparkling showgirl outfits, complete with fishnet stockings and tassle trimmed corsets.

The Girls Aloud troupe wowed the crowd with their showgirl attire

The Girls Aloud troupe wowed the crowd with their showgirl attire

They performed tracks from Sounds Of The Underground as well as their Comic Relief hit, Walk This Way.

The group, which features Sarah Harding, Nadine Coyle, Cheryl Cole, Nicola Roberts and Kimberley Walsh, also performed a medley of Dirty Dancing tracks, according to reports.

The show proved to be exhausing work for the girls, with beads of sweat which rolling down their faces during the act a sign of their efforts.

After this tour, the group are looking forward to completing work on their fifth release.

Sarah has said: "We're just working on the next album at the moment, which should be out around October. And there will be no covers on this album."
