The uber-producer beat Dizzee Rascal, Morrissey and Paul Weller to the title at the Vodafone Live Music Awards.
Ronson, 33, is best known for remixing The Zutons' track Valerie for Amy Winehouse and the Kaiser Chiefs' tune Oh My God for Lily Allen.
His relationship with Agent Provocateur model Lowe, 14 years his junior, ended just weeks ago after an argument in New York.

Thursday night's awards also saw Primal Scream win Best Live Act, beating newer upstarts like the Kaiser Chiefs, 26 years after they formed.
They also won the gong for Outstanding Contribution to Live Music.
Kate Nash won the Live Female award, beating Amy Winehouse, Duffy and Estelle.
The Spice Girls were named Best Live Return, over Led Zeppelin, and Kings of Leon took Best International Live Act.
The Ting Tings, from Salford, famous for their number one hit That's Not My Name, were crowned Live Breakthrough Act at the ceremony at the Carling Academy in Brixton, south London.
Take That won the gong for best tour.
Primal Scream, Estelle, the Pussycat Dolls, and The Ting Tings were among the performers at the bash, with Ronson and Emma Bunton also attending.

The awards are voted for by a panel of music experts from a shortlist compiled by music fans.
Ronson collected his award from presenter Fearne Cotton and cricketer Andrew Flintoff.
Cotton said of Ronson, who had appeared shy on stage: "I think it's really difficult for him because his music is fronted by other people like Lily Allen and Amy Winehouse, but I think he's becoming more of a rock star every day. It was a well-deserved award."
Emma Bunton collected Best Live Return award on behalf of the Spice Girls from Holly Willoughby and Leigh Francis's comedy alias Keith Lemon.

Bunton said afterwards: "It's great to win any award but I get to keep this one because I came to collect it.
"It was amazing touring with the Spice Girls. We are all mummies now but whenever I'm on stage with the girls I feel 15 again.
"Mel C is going to be a great mum, she was a great nanny on tour. I am so happy for her."
Formula 1 ace Lewis Hamilton attended the awards with his father and brother. His girlfriend, Nicole Scherzinger, performed live with her band the Pussycat Dolls.
Former Blur bassist-turned-cheese farmer Alex James was also at the event, but said: "I am getting it bit old for it all now. It's not my music any more."
