British actress Samantha Morton is expecting her second child.
The Oscar-nominated actress, 30, is due to give birth to her first child with fiance Harry Holm, in January.
She is already mother to 7-year-old Esme from a previous relationship with British actor Charlie Creed-Miles.
"It is wonderful news, they are both very excited and looking forward to having their new baby," Morton's publicist, Karon Maskill, told People.com.
Morton met Holm - the son of actor Sir Ian Holm, who played Bilbo Baggins in the Lord of the Rings movies - in 2005 when he directed her in a video for the band The Victims.
He proposed to Morton in Paris in May 2006 – on her 29th birthday. They were originally due to wed last September but had to postpone the ceremony due to career demands.
The best man is expected to be Johnny Borrell, singer with the band Razorlight (and Kirsten Dunst's boyfriend).
Morton, who won Academy Award nominations for her roles in Sweet and Lowdown and In America, will next be seen on the big screen in Elizabeth I historical drama The Golden Age, opposite Cate Blanchett.
