It was a case of shabby meets chic as sleek Reese Witherspoon stepped out with boyfriend Jake Gyllenhaal in London last night.
While the Oscar-winning actress chose a smart black dress and matching wrap coat, her toyboy lover could have been easily be mistaken for a homeless scruff.
Despite dining at one of the capital's poshest restaurants, Scotts in Mayfair, the Brokeback Mountain actor, 27, ignored the smart dress code in his untucked checked shirt, jeans and hooded jacket.

The couple, who met on the set of Rendition last year, were joined by Hollywood über film producer Jerry Bruckheimer, who has cast Gyllenhaal in his latest project.
Our spy in the restaurant said the couple were 'very cosy together'.
Witherspoon, 32, ordered melon soup and a 16oz dover sole with steamed spinach.
Earlier in the day, the couple were spotted pottering around in rain macs in Notting Hill, where they reportedly have a rented a pad.

Gyllenhaal is set to spent the next few months in Britain filming epic Prince Of Persia: The Sands Of Times.
The action movie, based on a computer game, is currently filming at Shepperton and Pinewood Studios and co-stars Ben Kingsley, Alfred Molina and new Bond girl Gemma Arterton.
Witherspoon has been taking time out of her acting career to spend time with her boyfriend in the capital.
Her two children Deacon and Ava are at home in the U.S. with their father, Witherspoon's ex-husband Ryan Phillippe.
