She is more famous for her fiery temper and tottering on the catwalk.

But there was drama right up until her debut.

The 37-year-old jarred her neck rehearsing her routine and needed the help of a physiotherapist to recover.

The Streatham-born model was paid a reported £50,000 to guest star in the first programme of Ballando Con Le Stelle - Dancing With The Stars.

All that glitters: The supermodel strutts her stuff

Dressed in a gold and silver outfit with studded sandals, she took to the floor with partner Alessandro Camerotto for a sensuous salsa to Zucchero's Baila Morena.

Her performance was hailed as a triumph by the judges, who awarded her an impressive 33 points out of 40.

The programme marks a return to form for Naomi, who has admitted in the past to attending anger-management classes to deal with her quick temper.
