Sienna banned from her new film's £60,000 afterparty

Sienna Miller may have been the star attraction on the green carpet at the premiere of her movie Stardust last night, but the actress was banned from her own afterparty.

She stayed away from the £60,000 bash, which was thrown by the director Matthew Vaughn and his wife Claudia Schiffer in their Notting Hill home.

Instead Sienna, who looked stunning in a white dress and red shoes, had an unusually early night.

Sources say producers of her new movie Hippie Hippie Shake gave the her special permission to attend the premiere but instructed the notorious party girl not attend the bash afterwards.

Vaughn and Schiffer greeted 250 guests - including Jonathon Ross, Jemima Khan and David Walliams - at the door and pulled out all the stops for the bash, decking out their home with posh candles and incense.

The party kicked off at about 10pm and even without Sienna there, it lasted well into the early hours of this morning.

Earlier a subdued Sienna walked the red carpet with her mother Jo - there was no sign of her regular companion and partner in hell-raising, Rhys Ifans.

The two have been almost inseperable in recent times, regularly hitting the bar scene together and last week the Welsh actor even got a matching swallow tattoo.
