Sienna's Rhys recreates THAT doorstep scene from film Notting Hill

Ever wondered just what Sienna Miller sees in grungy actor Rhys Ifans? Wonder no more, as the Notting Hill star unwittingly recreated the famous doorstep scene from the 1999 movie, in which he shot to fame.

Ifans was seen on the balcony of his hotel in Mexico City, in his underwear, in a scene uncannily reminiscent of the British movie which starred Hugh Grant and Julia Roberts.

Despite his subsequent sucess, his pale, unbuffed body has changed little - although the underwear looks more presentable.

The Welsh actor and girlfriend have travelled for work and pleasure. Fashionista Sienna is set to appear in a fashion show for denim label Pepe Jeans, the company she models for.

The couple, who have barely been apart since they started dating in August, arrived in the country hand-in-hand, two days ago.

Ifans was dressed for comfort in black jeans and a zip-up jacket, while Sienna also kept it casual in jeans, ballet flats and aviator sunglasses.

They were also armed with matching his and hers luggage.

It's not the first time the pair - who have yet to publically confirm their relationship - have embarked on a holiday together.

They were first spotted soaking up the sun in Ibiza earlier this year, and later escaped to Dublin for a brief weekend which saw Rhys get a swallow tattoo to match Sienna's.

The dishevelled pair appeared in need of some rest and relaxation as they prepared to board to the flight at Heathrow airport on Monday following a rather hectic weekend.

They attended Davinia Taylor's 30th birthday party at Shoreditch club The Colour Rooms along with Kate Moss, Naomi Campbell, Sadie Frost and Kelly Osbourne.

Sienna and Rhys embrace the fancy dress theme - she arrived in a blonde wig and a tiger-print trilby, while Rhys looked as if he were a member of 80s super group Duran Duran, in a multi-zip black jacket and Simon le Bon style white sunglasses.

While they were dress for fun, the night turned ugly when Kate confronted nemesis Sienna, according to reports.

The supermodel, who is a long term friend of the Notting Hill star, was overheard warning the actress: "If you hurt Rhys, you'll have an enemy for life."

While a spokesperson has insisted there is no tension between the pair, an insider told The Sun: "Sienna was gobsmacked by what Kate said. She turned on her heel and took to the dance floor. She just couldn't believe it."

Meanwhile, Sienna has just signed up to star in a movie version of GI Joe, according to US publication Variety.

The actress will play a sexy femme fatale skilled in espionage.

Military action hero GI Joe started life as a Second World War comic strip and went on to become a popular series of toys in the US.

The film is set at the Brussels-based GIJOE - an acronym for the Global Integrated Joint Operating Entity - where a band of special operatives battle to defeat Cobra, an evil organisation headed by a Scottish arms dealer.

Sienna is the first star to sign on for the big-budget production.
