Six held after snow attack on Lily Allen

Lily Allen's fun in the snow turned nasty as a gang of hoodies pelted her with snowballs. The Fear singer had to be rescued by her bodyguard as she was set upon in Primrose Hill yesterday.

Snow joke: Lily was pelted

She had built a snowman and had been sliding down the hill on a makeshift sled when the snowball fight began. Police were called and arrested six youths. An onlooker said: "She took it in good spirits at first, but it got more relentless. Some people told the gang to stop before people started squaring up to them."

One man was badly beaten. Allen, 22, had earlier been on GMTV to discuss her new album, saying: "I didn't know if I was capable of doing it all over again."
