Hard as it may be to believe and to the envy of women everywhere, Aniston, who turns 40 next February, looks better now than she did a decade ago.

And with her ex Brad Pitt unveiling his fifth and sixth child this week, Aniston has some big news of her own, if American tabloids are to be believed.

U.S. magazines are in a frenzy over rumours the former Friends star is set to marry her new boyfriend, singer John Mayer.

The American edition of OK! claims Aniston is in the throes of planning the 'wedding of the year', complete with a Vera Wang gown and 'intimate ceremony' at her Beverly Hills home.

Best friend Courteney Cox is already lined up as matron of honour, according to the report, with the couple deciding on Crete as a honeymoon destination.

The publication quotes a source as saying: 'She's at an age where she is thinking with her head not just her heart.

'No way would she still be with anyone if marriage wasn't a real option.'

Meanwhile, Star magazine claims the 39-year-old is planning to have a baby with Mayer, 30, whom she began dating in April.

The report coincides with the debut of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's twins Knox and Vivienne on the cover of People in the US and Hello! magazine in the UK.

However US Weekly has weighed in on the stories, running a denial from her camp on both reports. 

Aniston's spokesperson said: 'Both headlines are complete fabrications.'

Still, OK! is standing by its story, with Rob Shuter telling industry website www.coverawards.com: 'OK! is so happy that Jen’s in love. We can’t wait for the wedding.'
