Smartening up her act, Billie plays Belle the high-class hooker

She was last seen on television playing Jane Austen's timid heroine Fanny Price in Mansfield Park.
But Billie Piper has binned her bodice and bonnet in favour of a much sexier look for her next role as high-class call girl Belle de Jour.

Grounded: the actress' character is based on the blog turned book, The Diary Of A London Call Girl
The 24-year-old actress was spotted in Mayfair, where she is filming scenes for her new ITV2 mini-series.
She plays Belle, a London prostitute who caused a sensation in 2003 when she began an internet diary of her day-to-day exploits.
Within 18 months, the blog had been put into print but despite repeated attempts to unmask Belle her identity remains a mystery.

Billie gets a helping hand as a lady of the night
The former pop star will be joined by Toyah Willcox, who has been cast as Belle's mother, and Cherie Lunghi, who will play the part of her madam.
Miss Piper recently went through a quickie divorce from DJ Chris Evans and is now dating actor Laurence Fox.

Wig out: Billie works her bold, black hairstyle
Miss Piper will part with a white 1989 Porsche 911 Carrera Coupe, a gift from Evans in 2004. It is expected to fetch up to £17,000.
Evans is selling his black 1964 Daimler V8 Vicarage Convertible, which set him back £135,000 and could fetch £70,000.
He famously wooed Miss Piper by giving her a Ferrari filled with roses the day after they first met. She was 18 – but not able to drive at the time.
