Sorry Si, Louis is signing Eoghan

X Factor favourite Eoghan Quigg will dump his mentor Simon cowell after the show - even if he wins - because he would rather work with Louis Walsh. the 16-year-old has told pals he thinks cowell's ego could stand in the way of him making the most of his pop career.

Mentor swap: Eoghan Qiogg to work with Louis Walsh

Every week Simon has been claiming credit for Eoghan's performances and sources say it is getting on the little fella's nerves. our source added: "He knows that Simon may be the best in the business but would prefer to work with fellow Irishman Louis, and has secretly asked Louis to manage him behind hi s mentor ' s back.

"Louis has been a big supporter of Eoghan and has backed him to win this year's series. But any decisions on managing him will be taken after the show finishes.

"the judges have enough on their plates at the moment, and Louis is also looking after the careers of Shane Ward, Westlife and Boyzone."

Louis said last week: "I think Eoghan has been the revelation of the show - he can definitely win." the news is bound to cause even more tension between the judges, who have been at each othe r ' s throat s constantly.

Eoghan is currently joint-second favourite with Diana Vickers, behind favourite alexandra Burke and ahead of outsiders JLS. the semifinals take place on Saturday.
