Surfs up! Beckhams catch waves with Gordon Ramsay's brood

David and Victoria Beckham have teamed up with Gordon Ramsay's family for an afternoon of surfing lessons in Los Angeles.
The ex-pats made the most of the Malibu sunshine and watched on while their sons joined the TV chef's charges for a session in catching waves.
The parents decided to stay on dry land but Posh did make some effort to embrace surf culture – she left her high heels at home, instead taking to the sand in flip flops.

The following day, Posh continued her fun in the sun with a day lounging by the pool at Bacara, and exclusive resort spa in Santa Monica.
The Beckhams have been keeping close company with the father of four in recent times – last week the chef and his wife joined Victoria in the 27,000 strong crowd to cheer on David during an LA Galaxy match.

The pair have been good friends with Gordon and Tana for some time, and the Ramsays are thought to be staying with the Beckham's while Gordon films new series of Hells Kitchen and Kitchen Nightmares in America.

Earlier this year, Ramsay called on his high profile friends when he needed a grazing pasture for the lambs he is rearing on his on The F Word.
The livestock, one of whom was called Charlotte Church, were kept at their 17-acre Hertfordshire estate but were later slaughtered.
