Sweeney Tash! Helena Bonham Carter forgets to wax her lip (or brush her teeth)

The actress looked fab at the premiere of her new movie Sweeney Todd in Leicester Square last night - except for the slight facial hair and yellow teeth.

Wearing a ruby red Vivienne Westwood corseted dress, Helena looked every inch the film star - but an unflattering close-up revealed the attention to detail stopped short of the mouth area.

However, the bohemian actress is well known for her down-to-earth style, and the clearly apparent facial hair will probably not bother her in the slightest.

Helena was on the red carpet with heartthrob Johnny Depp who plays the murderous barber of Fleet Street who slashes his victims' throats and has them baked in pies.

Johnny revealed how he was uncomfortable about being in a musical, saying: "It took me a while to get used to singing... I've never done it before and I'll never do it again."

Sweeney Todd marks the fifth time Helena has worked with her director partner Tim Burton.

In contrast, Helena said: "I'd do another musical in a minute if I could."

The pair fell for each other on the set of Planet Of The Apes in 2001, in which Helena played an ape named Ari.

Helena's appearance on the red carpet is her first official outing since the birth of her second child last month.

The unnamed baby girl is a little sister for their four-year-old son Billy Ray.

The pair share an unusual living situation - they live in adjoining houses in Belsize Park, north London.
