Palmer-Tompkinson accosted the rather bashful looking officer outside the hotel and after flirting up a storm, she even managed to take a turn wearing his hat.
The former Fame Academy contestant revealed she has written an album of original track which she plans to release next year.
The record is tentatively called Me, Myself And My Piano and will hit the shops in January.

She said: "I don't care if it bombs, I have enough money. For the first time I've done something that I'm proud of — I'm not just that rich bitch anymore. I wrote all the songs myself, they are autobiographical. I've always said I'll never write an autobiography because it's all 'me, me me' and self indulgent.
"I haven't had a hard life really, there's no sob story. So instead I decided to put my life story into an album.
"The first single is about drugs and there are songs about men and other things that have happened in my life."
Meanwhile, Hear'Say singer Suzanne Shaw was in equally high spirits, while disgraced Celebrity Big Brother star Danielle Lloyd and Patsy Kensit were among the other stars who turned out to celebrate the occasion.

It was Coronation Street and Doctor Who were the big winners at the ceremony.
While EastEnders took just one award, ITV's Coronation Street bagged four after both soaps went head-to-head with nine nominations each.
The BBC's revival of Doctor Who got two gongs for the second consecutive year, including Best Loved Drama.
Best Actor was won by David Tennant, marking last night's occasion with a new haircut.
His future in the role of the Time Lord appears uncertain with news that a fifth series is being delayed for a year.
Coronation Street took one of the most coveted prizes of the night - Best Soap.

Charlie Clements, 20, who joined EastEnders as bank worker Bradley Branning in 2006, won Best Soap Actor.
ITV, which was criticised at last year's ceremony by Paul O'Grady, was also the big winner with eight of last night's awards compared with six for the BBC and two for Channel 4.

The X Factor cemented its immense popularity with the crown for Best Talent Show, beating the likes of Any Dream Will Do and Strictly Come Dancing.
Presenting duo Ant and Dec won a double at the ceremony at the Dorchester Hotel in central London.
Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway beat Friday Night with Jonathan Ross to Best Entertainment Show, while I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! scooped Big Brother to Best Reality TV Show.
Desperate Housewives took the honours for the best international TV show, beating The Simpsons and Ugly Betty.
Other winners included My Family (BBC1) for Best Comedy Show, Torchwood (BBC3/2) for Best New Drama, How To Look Good Naked (Channel 4) for Best Lifestyle Show, and Loose Women (ITV1) for Best Daytime Show.
Coronation Street won the Best Soap Storyline prize for the Charlie Stubbs death/Tracy Barlow's revenge plot. The awards were voted for by readers of TVQuick and TVChoice.
At last year's ceremony, EastEnders won Best Soap for the first time in three years.
Tennant said on receiving his Best Actor prize: "I'm having the time of my life making Dr Who and if people like it as much as they seem to, it really means the world to me."

Kim Ryder said of her win: "I'm so happy. It feels like everything else I've done has been leading up to Coronation Street. I absolutely love it and it's brilliant to be so near home."
Duo Ant and Dec said it had been "an incredible year for telly yet again" despite the crisis engulfing the industry.
Dec said: "I know that TV is having a crisis of confidence because of what's going on, but at the end of the day we have to remember that we still make some of the best telly in the world."
Simon Cowell proved his Mr Nasty credentials with the win for the X Factor.
He said in a video message: "I'm currently in America torturing contestants on American Idol.
I would like to commiserate with Andrew Lloyd Webber (nominated for Any Dream Will Do) who didn't win again. Andrew, it's not in the winning it's the taking part."
The Apprentice star Katie Hopkins was booed when she went on stage to present the awards for Best Lifestyle Show.
She boasted: "The winner is ...and I should know...How To Look Good Naked."
