The Girls Aloud cover-up

Girls Aloud were a colourful bunch last night as they launched a campaign for Sunsilk hair care brand after landing a contract worth over a million.

The singers looked stunning in their rainbow-themed sexy mini-dresses.

The girls are not usually known for their modesty and are often pictured in outfits that leave very little to the imagination but Cheryl Cole and Kimberley Walsh came over all shy when they arrived at the shoot and began frantically tugging at the their revealing mini-dresses.

Perhaps they were trying to avoid repeating the infamous Britney Spears incident where the underwear-less singer managed to flash a little bit more than intended on a night out with heiress Paris Hilton.

Earlier this month Kimberley Walsh had to be carried out of a car after a boozy night out in London and there were even suggestions that she'd had her drink spiked.

Kimberley made it out of the car on her own this time and was on her best behaviour as she giggled with Cheryl. The girls and fellow bandmates Nadine Coyle, Sarah Harding and Nicola Roberts were on their way to a photo-shoot for Sunsilk hair care brand after landing a contract worth over a million.

The year-long contract includes a TV advert and Sunsilk will sponsor the band's next tour.
