The night Princess Beatrice rubbed shoulders with rock royalty

She's already mingled with the Primrose Hill set, now Princess Beatrice has continued her party girl schooling by spending a night with rock 'n' roll royalty.

Still, it was to be a mild rather than wild night, with the princess' mother Sarah Ferguson presiding over the evening's affairs.

The group, which also included Riley's boyfriend, slipped out of the Dorchester Hotel well before midnight.

A night earlier 18-year-old Riley, a model who has worked for Dolce & Gabbana was spotted among the A-list crowd at Led Zeppelin including Kate Moss, Mick Jagger and Paul McCartney.

It was a family affair for Riley, who was joined by her mother Lisa Marie Presley, 39, and grandmother Priscilla Presley, 62.

Beatrice, who has enjoyed a series of international holidays as part of her gap year, recently returned from stint in Buenos Aires.

She's not expected to remain in London for long, with sources saying she is planning to spend some time in New York doing work experience in fashion and media.

Beatrice still has plans to go to university - both Edinburgh and Goldsmiths college in South-East London, which specialise in the creative arts, are on her shortlist.

Mother figure: the Duchess was on hand to supervise the evening
