Twisted Tony's deathbed confession in Coronation Street

This is the dramatic moment as Coronation Street's twisted Tony Gordon makes a 'deathbed' confession that he murdered love rival Liam Connor.

Tony, played by Gray O'Brien, suffers a heart attack in the street, where he is discovered by sweet-natured Roy Cropper (David Neilson) and rushed to hospital.

Believing that Roy is the last man he will speak to, Tony grabs his hand and utters the words 'I killed Liam' before suffering another massive heart attack.

Tony arranged the killing of Liam (Rob-James Collier) a year ago after discovering he was having an affair with his fiancee Carla Connor (Alison King), but until his hospital confession only Carla knew of his involvement in Liam's death.

Tony's heart attack comes after Carla makes her dramatic return to the Street, and tells Tony she will inform the police of what he has done unless he leaves his life in Weatherfield behind.

But she does not bank on her scheming husband enlisting his henchman to try and do away with the problem once again.

Carla will return on Monday October 19, and Tony suffers the heart attack in a episode due to air on Friday, October 30 at 8.30pm.
