Singer Justin Timberlake showed off his wacky side as the host of a sports awards show honoring the year's best sports moments and athletes.
Timberlake performed an original rock opera which included impersonations of Jessica Simpson and golfer Tiger Woods.
But thankfully the Sexyback singer stopped short of actually wearing the famous hotpants - or 'Daisy Dukes' - made famous by Dukes of Hazzard star Jessica Simpson in the 2005 film.
Instead Timberlake stood in front of a cut-out of the singer and actress, who is dating American Football star Tony Romo, onstage at the 2008 ESPY Awards in Los Angeles last night.

The show took place at LA's Nokia Theatre and was attended by David and Victoria Beckham, and Manchester United striker Cristiano Ronaldo
The 27-year-old played it for laughs as he worked the crowd, performing with Boston Celtic basketball player puppets and a cut-out of Tiger Woods.
Manchester United fan Timberlake is passionate about golf and football, but still targeted football superstar David Beckham, who attended the event at LA's Nokia Theatre with wife, Victoria.
Timberlake said: 'Dude, I got to give you props.
'Single-handedly you made soccer in America this much more popular', which he illustrated by holding his thumb and index finger an inch apart.
He added: 'I call it soccer because in America we already have a game dudes play called football.'
However, he didn't add that the 'dudes' have to play it wearing masses of padding and a helmet.

Meanwhile, Justin is reported to be in the midst of planning his wedding to actress Jessica Biel.
The two have been dating since January last year and Justin is said to have his eye on some of the world’s most exclusive and private islands.
But grandma, Sadie Bomar, has said in no uncertain terms where she thinks the marriage should take place.

Granny Sadie has said: 'I just want them to be happy. Justin should get married in Lynn’s backyard in Tennessee.
'She has a big yard with beautiful flowers. I think it would be perfect.
She also gave Jessica the seal of approval, and added: 'Jessica’s really sweet. She’s his age and isn’t possessive. I think their personalities are a lot alike.'
So now you know Justin!
