War on the Sex And The City 2 set as stars continue rowing

There is war on the set of Sex And The City 2 as the bitching and back-stabbing continues — and the filming hasn't even started yet!

Sarah Jessica Parker and Kim Cattrall are at loggerheads once again, and there are no signs that either is going to back down.

Kim, who plays Samantha, is nursing a broken heart after splitting from long-term boyfriend, Canadian chef Alan Wyse, after five years — but we hear SJP has been less than supportive.

On-set fighting: SJP and Kim Cattrall

We're told: "Sarah is too busy to comfort Kim or worry about her problems at the moment, and she basically told her as much.

"Kim has been moping around, feeling sorry for herself and Sarah basically told her to snap out of it and buck up her ideas.

"Kim didn't take this too well and there is a very frosty atmosphere between the girls right now. They only speak to each other when absolutely necessary. The film producers are hoping this row doesn't escalate and threaten the entire movie.

"Both actresses are professional but they are two very different people."

Of course, this is not the first time the pair have argued with each other — and it's not just Kim who is copping flak — SJP and Cynthia Nixon, who plays Miranda, argued in July when SJP failed to join a gay rights rally.

The Sex And The City 2 producers are holding auditions for the movie in New York and filming is planned to start in London any minute.

The Eye was the first to reveal there was to be a sequel back in May last year when Mario Cantone, who plays wedding planner Anthony Marantino in the series and the first movie, spilled the beans to us.

The first movie was rocked by reports of on-set fighting between the stars — so expect to hear more of the same this time.
