Wedding woes for Val as Emmerdale's landlady is kidnapped on her big day

What was supposed to be a happy day for Val Lambert’s (Charlie Hardwick) turns into a nightmare when she's knocked out, kidnapped and held to ransom.

Altough she was unaware that it was her wedding day, Val set out to meet her hubby Eric Pollard (Chris Chittell).

Val Lambert is held when she is kidnapped by Eli Dingle on her wedding day

Eric had organised the secret wedding as a way to save money on their big day.

But Val is kidnapped by scheming Scheming Eli (Joseph Gilgun) who decides Pollard would pay to get his fiance back safe.

While the pub landlady is tied up in a barn with a bag over her head, husband-to-be Eric Pollard is left waiting at the altar with his son David Metcalfe (Matthew Wolfenden) and the rest of the wedding guests.
