What a waist! It's a cinch for Girls Aloud

When they were first propelled to pop stardom, Girls Aloud carried the puppy fat of most teenagers their age.
But five years on, they appear to have slimmed down dramatically.
The five-girl band - Nadine Coyle, 21, Cheryl Cole, 23, Nicola Roberts, 20, Sarah Harding and Kimberley Walsh, both 24 - posed in North London with waists drawn in to as little as 18in, with the help of corset-like elasticated belts.
While it would seem that breathing alone would be positively difficult in such tight outfits, it was just business as usual for the fun-loving ladies.
Cheryl Cole, Nadine Coyle, Sarah Harding, Nicola Roberts and Kimberley Walsh put up a united front amid recent speculation the band is set to split in the summer.
They were all on hand to shoot an ad for Sunsilk, as part of the band's £4 million deal with the hair care company.
And action! The girls get to work filming a hair commercial.
There were several costume changes, with big belts, bright colours and sky-high heels being a favoured look of the day.
Kimberley Walsh, zipped up Nicola Roberts and Sarah Harding mix and match.
The real show-stopper was Roberts, who shocked onlookers with a cheeky mini that zipped all the way down the back.
Skinny minis: Girls Aloud strut their stuff on set.
Meanwhile, her bandmate Coyle managed to hide any signs of her private troubles - her boyfriend Jesse Metcalfe checked into rehab after a bender last month.
Despite his struggle, Coyle has vowed to stick by the former Desperate Housewives star, and has even visited him at the Promises clinic in Los Angeles.
Walk this way: the girls get ready to shoot.
Coyle appeared to welcome the distraction from her personal life, happily chatting and giggling with her gal pals between takes.
And Cole might finally be able to quash those baby bump whispers: the star has been fighting off rumours that she is expecting a child with her soccer star husband Ashley Cole.
