Worse for wear: Susannah Constantine looks distinctly bleary-eyed after an evening out with friends

Maybe the television star, who is famous for her style makeovers, was drowning her sorrows following the barrage of complaints ITV received over her and co-presenter Trinny's latest programme.

In the first of a new series of Trinny And Susannah Undress The Nation, the pre-watershed programme featured topless women - including the two presenters - from the outset of its broadcast at 8pm.

Crafty drag: The television makeover queen stopped outside the restaurant to have a crafty cigarette before making her way home

The show prompted a barrage of complaints, and condemnation by family campaigners and viewers, who said it transgressed broadcasting guidelines.

The television presenter was later seen leaving the restaurant in London's Mayfair with her pals, stopping only for a crafty cigarette on the pavement before jumping into a taxi.

Wearing an extremely shiny black bomber jacket over her bottle green frock, despite it being the relatively early hour of 11.30pm, Susannah appeared to be in desperate need of the support of a male pal.

Hope the head's alright Susannah!
