Luckily for Victoria, it seems that the imperfections owed more to a rogue reflection from her white sequinned vest, than to a troublesome skin complaint.
The roving fashionista is so intent an impact on making an impact in the US, that she changed no less than three times in one day while she performed promotional duties.
Victoria's campaign to ingrain herself on the US public's consciousness started with a taping for an appearance for the Today Show.
Wearing a beige fitted dress with a full skirt, and nude coloured heels, she was interviewed by journalist Matt Lauer, who recently interviewed Princes Harry and William.
Then it was off to the unveiling of her dVb collection of denim line, skirts and shorts at Saks department store on Fifth Avenue. The dVb range also includes her trademark big lensed sunglasses.
Wearing white jeans, silver high heels, and a sequinned, silver vest Posh posed for photographers - who according to Reuters - outnumbered the 70 assembled fans waiting in line.

All-change: For an interview with journalist Matt Lauer, Victoria chose a nude-coloured dress and matching shoes. Stepping out in the evening, she chose a bodyhugging black dress with sheer embroidered panels
Posh's previously designed collection of jeans for label Rock and Republic was a sell-out, and the new range is expected to do well.
Finally, for an evening out in the Big Apple, New York City, Victoria slipped into something a little more comfortable. A bodyhugging black dress, with sheer embroidered panels. Phew. But her hectic schedule, Victoria managed to remain fresh, and unruffled.
Yesterday she was caught short when she was forced to remove her trademark accessory - towering six-inch high heels – and looking beyond her usual moody demeanour, it was clear she did not look entirely pleased.
The star, who is not one to be seen without stilettos, scowled as she took off her Christian Louboutin stilettos during an airport security check.

Back in step: Victoria Beckham struts her stuff again
Days earlier, Posh showed her sporting prowess, playing catch with Dodgers pitcher Derek Lowe during a promotional appearance in LA.
But even on the field Beckham proved her obsession with heels, opting for a sneaker-inspired pair of high wedges in place of regular joggers.
The star is soon to hit screens in the US - television network NBC has confirmed her program, titled Victoria Beckham: Coming to America, will air as a one-hour special next month on ET.
NBC Entertainment executive Craig Plestis said: "Viewers will get a first-hand glimpse into what it's like to be one of the most sought after celebrities in the world."
"Victoria's every move is documented by the paparazzi, but only our cameras have been allowed inside the world of what being Victoria Beckham is really like."
Beckham originally signed a deal with NBC for six episodes of a 30-minute unscripted series recording but it has since been downgraded.
She has been working overtime to raise her profile in the US, but insists she's not consumed by the need for public approval.
Beckham has said: "If I was really bothered about what people think, I'd have slit my wrists a few years ago.
She added: "I hope they like my TV show. I hope they like me. But if they don't, I'm not going to lose any sleep on it."
