You're fired again, Katie!

For weeks she revelled in the limelight as the woman viewers loved to hate.
Katie Hopkins, a contestant on the hit BBC1 show The Apprentice, called herself the "alpha female", boasted of her affairs with married men and was even photographed making love in a cornfield.
Last week she walked out of the programme, leaving viewers startled as she turned down the chance of a £100,000-a-year job with Sir Alan Sugar.

Katie Hopkins has been fired by the Met Office for bringing the weather forecasters into disrepute
Now, however, she might be regretting her decision - because yesterday she was sacked from her day job.
Miss Hopkins, 31, turned up for work at the Meteorological Office to find herself dismissed for bringing the weather forecasters into disrepute.
Perhaps the single mother of two should have seen it coming.
It was only just over a week ago that the serial seductress was photographed having sex with married ex-Met Office colleague Mark Cross in a Devon field.
And on Sunday she told a downmarket newspaper that she considered herself "ten out of ten" in the bedroom and was unrepentant over her widely publicised adulterous behaviour.

Viewers were shocked when alpha female Katie Hopkin's quit the show after reaching the final
After quitting The Apprentice, Miss Hopkins chose to return to the West Country and her £90,000-a-year post as a "global brand consultant" for the Met Office.
But at 9.30am yesterday she was told that her bosses had had enough. According to Met Office insiders, she was stunned to be fired.
A Met Office spokesman said: "Katie was informed that we were terminating her period of probation with us.
"Although the probationary period is normally one year and Katie joined us in September 2006, we have the right to terminate her employment at any time during that period.

Katie Hopkins and her married ex-colleague Mark Cross were caught on camera in an outdoor romp
"In making this decision we would look at work performance, time keeping and conduct and review how a prospective employee is capable of achieving and maintaining an acceptable standard in all these areas.
"We decided that in this case Katie did not meet those standards and her employment was terminated."
A colleague, who asked not to be named, said: "I know that bosses in the Met Office feel she has let them down and they have been damaged by association.
"When you think she came in as a brand consultant, she hasn't proved herself worthwhile."
The company had already allowed her seven weeks leave of absence to appear on The Apprentice, but had not expected the whirlwind of publicity that followed.
In her weekend newspaper interview, which is believed to have earnt her £40,000, Hopkins claimed she had had ten lovers and lost her virginity at 17 after leaving convent school.
Miss Hopkins, who has spoken openly about her flings with three married men, even refused to rule out having an affair with another woman's husband again, claiming: "I will always follow my heart."
She also spoke about the pictures of her having sex in the cornfield.
She said: "I'm not going to apologise. Yes, we were making love. It's obvious from the pictures what we were doing.
"Mark had the benefit of seeing the full Katie Hopkins out on show."
But she claims the affair with Mr Cross has ended after the photographs of their tryst were published.
Miss Hopkins is currently staying at her parents' house in Exeter.
Her father, when asked about the latest turn of events, claimed his daughter had nothing to say about the Met Office's decision to sack her.
