You're looking swell, Miss Church

Blooming Charlotte Church showed off an impressive accessory on the red carpet at this year's Glamour Awards - her baby bump.

The 21-year-old Welsh singer, who wore a stunning a cream customised dress by Anthony Price, completed her transition from opera star to television host by picking up the award for TV Personality of the Year.

Charlotte Church took out the award for TV Personality of the Year

Last year a tipsy Charlotte Church turned the air blue with a foul mouthed acceptance speech but this year she was six months pregnant and sober as she accepted her award for TV Personality of the Year.

Church still raised a laugh this year, telling the audience: "I am really f***ing sober.

"I want you all to get drunk and have a few drinks for me, you bastards."

Fellow chat show host Paul O'Grady presented her award and had guests in stitches when he said: "She's pretending she's heavily pregnant. She isn't - she's been shoplifting. She's got an oven ready chicken and a spin dryer up her frock."

Another pregnant star made an equally elegant enterance. Myleene Klass, model and former bandmember of Hear'Say, showed her catwalk credentials as she showed off her rounder figure in a blue and white strapless number.

Despite getting bigger by the day, Ms Klass has been giving the photo retouching experts plenty of work as she modelled M&S' latest summer and swimwear collection.

Singer Katherine Jenkins, credited with giving classical music more popular appeal, turned heads in a full-length strapless silver gown.

More dazzling that her outfit - the Mont Blanc diamonds dripping off her worth a staggering £2 million.

Sportswoman of the Year was the Queen's granddaughter, equestrian Zara Phillips.
