You've Been Framed host Jeremy Beadle seriously ill in hospital with pneumonia

Jeremy Beadle is seriously ill in hospital after being struck with pneumonia.

The TV star was admitted to a hospital near his North London home a few days ago and is understood to have been battling the illness for several days.

His agent Michael Cohen said: "Anybody suffering from pneumonia is going to be pretty poorly.

"We are all hopeful he will pull through and be fine."

Beadle's wife Sue, 60, and daughters Cassie, 21, and Bonnie, 19 were by his side yesterday.

The 59-year-old entertainer also recently fought leukaemia after falling ill in 2005, just 10 months after having a kidney tumour removed.

The diagnosis came after a routine blood test showed he had developed a form of the disease known as chronic lymphocytic leukaemia.

The former You've Been Framed star once attracted more than 19milllion viewers at the height of his fame.
