The FA left messages for the 20-year-old forward but astonishingly they were not returned and he was not included in Stuart Pearce's 23-man squad for the finals in Holland next month.

Missed chance: Gabriel Agbonlahor (left) could not be reached by the Football Association
Pearce told Sky Sports News: "We called him up for the trip to Spain and he was on holiday at the time. He's failed to respond to the phone calls the FA have made to him.
"He must have his own reasons, my focus is on the players that have shown up."
David Bentley has been included in the squad.
The Blackburn winger is currently with the seniors and will travel to Estonia next week before joining the under 21s, with their matches starting on June 11.
Bentley, who scored the first goal for England at the new Wembley when he netted for the under 21s against Italy, has played more than 50 games for his club this season and boss Mark Hughes recently warned against burn-out.
However, his season will be extended into next month following his inclusion in the 23-man squad for the under-21s.
Pearce had previously named a 30-man squad and had to trim the numbers, with Lee Cattermole and Andrew Davies from Middlesbrough out injured.
Luke Moore, Michael Johnson, Lee Camp, Matt Kilgallon were left out, and Agbonlahor could not be contacted.
Pearce was sacked as Manchester City boss the day after the Barclays Premiership season ended but has not had time to think about the possibility of taking the under 21s job on a full-time basis after the tournament.
He added on Sky Sports News: "At the moment I am pleased to be involved in the squad, I've not really thought about it myself as I expected to be the Manchester City boss in the summer."
