Agent believes Arshavin deal could still happen by the end of the month

Andrei Arshavin's agent is confident the Zenit St Petersberg striker could still make a big money move to Premier League .
Spurs have been chasing the Russian star since Euro 2008, but the north London side had seemingly backed away after failing to agree a fee with his Russian club.
But Arshavin's agent Dennis Lachter feels the move could go through before the end of the month - according to Sky Sports News.
Dragging on: Agent believes deal is not dead to bring Arshavin to White Hart Lane
'Zenit asked for €25million (£19.7million) for the transfer of Arshavin, this is the last price of the team,' Lachter said.
'Four days ago in a private meeting with one of the Tottenham representatives, it was take it or leave it, that is the last price.
'I have got to talk with president of Zenit, Alexander Dukov, if he wants to buy somebody he needs to sell somebody, so he is pushing for Zenit himself to sell Andrei as he understands the contribution of the player.
'We still have a lot of time and from my experience a lot of deals are finalised close to the end of the window, so we will see.'
Zenit that they expect a decision from Spurs on Monday - although sources at White Hart Lane suggest that this may not be the case.
Indeed, it is believed Spurs have switched their targets elsewhere, with further reports in Russia suggesting Arshavin's countryman Roman Pavlyuchenko is higher on their wanted list.
Some Russian sources have claimed Spurs are close to striking a deal with Spartak Moscow, but neither side has confirmed this.
