Premier League new boys West Bromwich Albion want to sign Tottenham's 19-year-old midfielder Adel Taarabt on loan, his agent has said.
Manager Tony Mowbray is already starting to strengthen following Zoltan Gera's decision to sign for Fulham and Frenchman Taarabt is a target.
Taarabt 's agent Rudy Raba said: "We have some decisions to make about Adel. West Brom have an interest and have followed him for a long time."

The newly-promoted side desperately wanted to keep Gera but he has opted to move on.
"Having offered Zoltan the best contract the club could at this time, we could do no more," said manager Tony Mowbray.
"We would like to wish Zoltan all the best in his future career. Everyone at Albion appreciated his professionalism on and off the field.
"But football moves on and, just as we did last summer, we are looking forward to the challenge of finding new faces to strengthen the squad for the season ahead."
