They are thought to have settled on a compensation package, worth in the region of £500,000, which covers the final nine months of the Dutchman's contract as their manager.

On the move: Ten Cate
Ten Cate has to complete personal terms for the deal to go ahead but he is expected to join Avram Grant's backroom staff in the next few days.
The former Barcelona No2 is understood to want a £40,000-a-week three-year deal, but Chelsea were refusing to comment on the latest development today.
An Ajax statement said: "Ajax have reached an agreement on the immediate transfer of Henk ten Cate to Chelsea. Ajax do not expect that it [the move] will take long."
Ten Cate would be the first addition to Grant's staff, and his departure from Ajax could create an opening for Tottenham's unhappy Martin Jol, as the Dutch football federation made it clear today they will not release national team coach Marco van Basten to fill the vacancy.
Israeli army Colonel Avi Moyal has also been linked to the Chelsea fitness coach's job but John Terry insists the club should make it a priority to hang on to long-serving assistant manager Steve Clarke.
The captain said: "Obviously he [Avram Grant] wants his people around him. But Clarkey is a familiar face to the players and we have needed him among us. It is very important to have someone like Clarkey around.
"He knows the club inside out. He is passionate and speaks from the heart. That is very important not only for the English boys but the foreign lads who have not been here too long. Hopefully, we can keep hold of him."
