That's the verdict from former England scrum-half Dewi Morris before Saturday's final at Twickenham.

Morris, 44, who will be analysing the game live on Sky Sports 1, believes the clash between two of the Premiership's top fly-halves - England's No 10 Cipriani, just 20, and the experienced Goode, 28, would have been a cracker.

But after Cipriani suffered a fracture dislocation of his right ankle in the Premiership semi-final against Bath at Adams Park 10 days ago, Morris knows Goode - who won just nine caps - has another chance to prove he was never given the England chances he deserved.

Goode produced the clinching drop goal in the Tigers' 26-25 semi-final triumph over Premiership leaders Gloucester at Kingsholm and Morris said: "Danny's injury could just have shifted the game towards Leicester.

"Goode has shown us what a great player he is: cool, calm and collected, and he will be relishing the opportunity. He really proved in the last semi-final that he can deliver the game-defining blow.

"He'd have enjoyed facing Cipriani but hey, it's a massive plus for Leicester that Danny is out.

"I would put Riki Flutey in at fly-half, he already stands there defensively, even while Cipriani was playing. And Flutey was voted players' player of the year, you can't argue with that."

The final marks Lawrence Dallaglio's final appearance for Wasps before retirement - and Morris believes French flanker Serge Betsen, signed to replace him, will struggle to fill Dallaglio's boots.

He said: "Lawrence is Mr Wasps. Betsen has been bought to do a job but he can never replace Lawrence. Still, I'm looking forward to seeing him doing a decent job, he's certainly not just here for the money."
