Annika Sorenstam's British Open dream

Annika Sorenstam knows they will be no easy way to win this week's British Open.

The Swede, who has dominated women's golf for a decade, was an early starter at Sunningdale today as she set out to claim her 11th major title before retiring at the end of the season.

But with defending champion Lorena Ochoa leading a field which includes 31 South Koreans and 31 Americans, Sorenstam said: "It will be tough.

"This has been a great tournament to me but it's the only major I haven't won two or three times. If I could win I'd say I've pretty much achieved everything I can."
