Anton Ferdinand has sparked speculation about his long-term future after rejecting a £2million-a-year contract at .
The 23-year-old defender, who joined the Hammers as a teenager, stunned the club by turning down the chance to treble his wages after months of negotiations.
Club insiders reveal he wants even more before putting pen to paper - according to The Mirror.

Ferdinand, whose big brother Rio has had two major pay rises at Manchester United in recent years, could now be sold before the end of the month, as bosses at Upton Park do not want him to run down his current deal.
Aston Villa had been linked with the south-east London born defender but speculation cooled after they landed centre-back Carlos Cuellar from Rangers on Tuesday.
