Armchair guide to the Final

You've got a beer in hand, snacks in a bowl and your armchair awaits. But now the toughest choice of all. Which channel to watch?

Sky Sports start at 9am with a special edition of Soccer AM. Presenters Tim Lovejoy and Helen Chamberlain will be joined by celebrity guests, including Noel Gallacher, and will have the match ball in the studio before it is taken to the stadium. They will also be live at Wembley for chats with Richard Keys and Jamie Redknapp.

After a break for the Blackpool v Oldham League One play-off at noon, Sky are live on air from Wembley at 2pm, with Graeme Souness and Ray Wilkins joining the team and commentary from Martin Tyler and Andy Gray.

BBC are live from Wembley at 12.40pm, with host Gary Lineker joined by Alan Hansen and Alan Shearer and three special guests - Blackburn manager Mark Hughes, former Chelsea defender Marcel Desailly and Manchester United legend Peter Schmeichel.

Commentating on his 30th final will be John Motson, with Mark Lawrenson providing analysis and jokes. Both channels will show coverage of the stadium's opening ceremony, starting at 1.30pm.

Highlights include: Des Lynam speaking to Wembley legends Sir Bob Geldof, Sir Henry Cooper and Sir Geoff Hurst; local Brent schoolchildren parading the colours of the 72 teams who have won the cup between 1923 and 2000; FA President HRH Prince William receiving the Cup from armed forces veterans while the Red Arrows perform a fly-past.
