Arsenal relief as Toure is fit to face Mali

Arsenal's Ivory Coast defender Kolo Toure is expected to be fit for his country's next match in the African Nations Cup despite being carried off in yesterday's 4-1 victory over Benin.

There were concerns for the centre-back after he sustained a groin injury and although he is due to have a scan, a team official said he expected the 26-year-old to available for Tuesday's final Group B match against Mali.

"His injury is not important. When he first came off it look bad but now he is okay and recovering," said Ouattara Hego, general secretary of the Federation Ivoirienne de Football.

"We think he will be fit for the next game on Tuesday."
