Arsenal set to make £8m bid for River Plate striker Falcao as replacement for Adebayor

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is lining up a £8m bid for Colombian striker Falcao as a replacement for Emmanuel Adebayor if the Togo forward leaves the Emirates.

Falcao scored 38 goals in 58 games for River Plate and can finish with either foot.

The Argentines value the 22-year-old at £12m but Wenger may increase his offer as he would have money to spend if Adebayor was sold, reports The Sun.
