Wenger warns fans that Da Silva is no Henry clone

Arsene Wenger has urged Arsenal fans not to compare £7.5million signing Eduardo Da Silva to Thierry Henry.

The Croatia striker, who is poised to make his debut for the club as a substitute against Turkish side Genclerbirligi in Austria tomorrow, joined following Henry's departure to Barcelona but Wenger says there should not be unrealistic expectations of the former Dinamo Zagreb man.

Eduardo da Silva

"Eduardo is a completely different player," said the Arsenal manager. "He is less individual. Thierry could take the ball in the middle of the park and score a goal that no one else in the world could.

"Eduardo is more of a mobile guy around the box with a nose for goal. He is more of a team player but he does not have the individual potential that Thierry had to score from anywhere."

Theo Walcott has set himself a target of 10 goals for the coming campaign.

The 18-year-old has only scored once for Arsenal, in the Carling Cup Final defeat to Chelsea in February, but said: "My aim is to score 10 goals next season.

"Robin van Persie told me he set himself a target in his first season. He reached that and then gradually got more and more.

Yes only one T.Henry! Anyway good to hear the lads are setting targets esp. Robin and Theo. All the best to them and do a great job(with killer instinct) for our Gunners.
